There are many scholars who believe that early Christianity may have been heavily influenced by Buddhist thought. I even read that the Dalai Lama considers Jesus a Bodhisattva. I don’t know about any of these things, but I do find it interesting.
The following Buddhist like quotes come from none other than Jesus himself.

If your leaders say to you. “Look! The kingdom is in the sky!” then the birds will be there before you are. If they say that the Kingdom is in the sea, then the fish will be there before you are. Rather the Kingdom is within you and it is outside of you.

Rather, the Kingdom of the Father is already spread out on the Earth, and people aren’t aware of it.

Recognize what is right in front of you, and that which is hidden from you will be revealed to you. Nothing hidden will fail to be displayed.

The seeker should not stop until he finds.
When he does find, he will be disturbed.
After having been disturbed, he will be astonished.
Then he will reign over everything.

They said to him: Tell us who you are so that we can believe you. He replied: You analyze the appearance of the sky and the Earth, but you don’t recognize what is right in front of you, and you don’t know the nature of the present moment.

You too should seek for long-lasting treasures that do not decay, where moths do not come to eat them or grubs to destroy them.
